-Wrote Diversity Statement, Why Berkeley, Berkeley GDP, UCLA Prog. Cont., UCLA Academic Fellowship, NYU Furman & AnBryce, & 1 Stanford Optional Essay.
-Ultimately I don’t think writing these made much impact–in hindsight I’d forego the additional month spent writing these essays & apply earlier. I only interviewed with UChicago and I think that speaks volumes to the reasons for why I received WL/R from all other T14s.
-UCLA requested an interview (4/26) while on the WL but I decided to withdraw.

-Apply earlier and to more schools than you planned for (‘cuz ya never know when a major global event might cause unprecedented labor market shifts)!
