About & Wisdom
Wisdom
Drink a five-C veggie smoothie (carrots, cucumbers, coriander, cabbages, and celery) mixed with fresh apple juice (add kale if possible) every single morning for your general health and a concentration boost.
Subscribe for 7Sage classes (you can get them for $1 if you show financial need) and also get the PowerScore LSAT bible (free PDFs are available online.
Trust the PowerScore crystal ball like you would trust gravity to pull you down on Earth. It gets everything (at least almost everything) right. Trust me.
Do well in your classes. REMEMBER: YOUR GPA FREAKING MATTERS.
Eat well, stay hydrated, and get a good night’s sleep before taking the LSAT/GRE.
Be unique in every way. I mean unique as in “I am a Rhodes Scholar and NASA engineer who graduated with both bachelor’s and advanced degrees from Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, Princeton, UChicago, MIT, or Yale,” “I founded a multimillion-dollar business and two global nonprofits, and was on Forbes 30 Under 30,” or “I am an award-winning author with three New York Times bestsellers and five prestigious law review publications under my belt.” Not unique as in “I can recite the alphabet in reverse while juggling six tomatoes and not blinking for eighteen minutes straight,” “My recommendation letter writer is a popular war criminal with a YLS degree,” or “I am passionate about human rights law and worked at a boutique law firm in Atlanta.” /s
Do not apply to schools you know you will not be happy attending. Do yourself a favor and thoroughly research the schools and compile a realistic list of where you can see yourself thrive based on factors like location, class size, school programs, course availability, faculty, student life, and alumni reviews. And then go from there. Don’t apply to a school simply because it’s ranked higher on the USNWR, your friend thinks it looks good on your resume, or you want to impress grandma.
