I’d recommend casting a wide net and trying, to the best of your abilities, to avoid having a “dream school.” It is much better to wait until you get decisions to get excited about a school in particular.

Also send out hail-mary applications, LSD chat convinced me to apply to Cornell 3/1 and now I’m going there.
