Sign-up for the LSAC account. as soon as you know you are interested in Law School. Apply for the applicable fee waiver in January of the year prior to your applicationscycle.

Test in August - November of your cycle. Use December through January as make up test times.

Apply by December. Many schools are more “flexible” with “Splitters” & those with LSAT & GPA scores below their median, early on. This is because they have more time to “correct” for the lower percentile scores. Many schools are steadily increasing their median scores as more and more people are applying to Law School.

Explain everything that makes you less competitive. Inform the board of the adversity through the use of one of the optional personal statements. Remember to use a professional tone; take responsibility; articulate what steps you are taking/have taken to prevent the adversity during law school; explain why you cannot simply retest and or improve your GPA prior to law school. note: if you have time to retest or can take a gap year the addendum
