A note to current and future GRE-only applicants: You can do it! Also, most talk about GRE prep gives little time to the writing section, but the top schools seem to give it a lot of weight. Look at the admitted scores. I was fortunate to read something about the importance of the AWA a few weeks before my test and prepped for it more seriously.

A note to current and future old applicants: You can do it! Being 30+ or 40+ (as I am) doesn’t prevent you from getting in.
