I only took the LSAT a third time because I had already registered for the test. By the time I got my 174, it was too late to receive a refund for the next test.

Wrote Challenge/Adversity Statement at Penn, Columbia, Yale, Michigan
Wrote library books essay at Stanford
Only wrote one of the Duke prompts

No optionals at Harvard, Chicago, NYU, UVA, UCLA, UGA, WashU, Bama

I was invited to apply for the Dean’s Scholarship at Penn. I initially was designated an alternate. I sent in my Cornell offer and I received a Dean’s Scholarship within a few days.

Interviewed at Harvard off the waitlist and was rejected a couple weeks later.

Although my optionals and my personal statement were well written, I am not sure if my application had a cohesive “Why Law” narrative. My application may have also benefitted from a year or two of work experience.
