RocksAreBadSouls's wisdom for future generations

Wrote LSAT FLEX 3x (170 -> 166 ->177), no addendum.

Wrote 3 Books Essay for Stanford, Core Values Essay for Penn, Why Xs for Michigan and Berkeley, Programmatic contributions for UCLA, applied for Furman Academic for NYU. For most schools (all but Harvard and UCLA because of space restrictions) tailored the final paragraph to the school I was applying to.

Softs include: master’s degree with thesis on legal issues + fairly competitive research scholarship supporting it, various leadership positions/volunteer projects, former varsity athlete. My softs don’t really have a coherent narrative, because I contain multitudes, but my PS tied as much together as it could. LBGTQ+, but no diversity statement. Canadian w/Canadian GPA.

Applied for joint degree programs at nearly every school, ultimately decided on Penn because of fit with joint degree program. I know that my acceptance to the joint degree program helped my application move through the law school process faster than it would’ve otherwise.

If we desire respect for the law, we must first make the law respectable.
