Applied to every school by 10/31. Wrote all optional essays that were offered. Received all fee waivers that I requested.
Did not negotiate any scholarships or write any LOCIs for the schools I was waitlisted at.
Withdrew from WashU in late March - I interviewed in late Oct and was essentially ghosted. I had chosen a school already and elected to withdraw before receiving a decision.
