- Take a deep breath! It’s going to be fine. This is a long process, so try to take things one step at a time.
- Write the optional essays and take them seriously. I always chose to include a “Why X” when given the opportunity.
- Work experience is SO helpful. It drove my narrative and was the main topic of conversation in every single interview.
- Try to avoid falling into the wave prediction rabbit hole. It’s just going to make you anxious. You’ll get your decision when the school is ready to give it.
- Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable. You can open up while not trauma dumping.
