Update 4/11/24:

Final choice was Villanova! After not getting any offers from the T14, (which, in retrospect, I might not have wanted without a decent scholarship, so thank god the 2 ED’s ended up being waitlists) it essentially came down to what city I could see myself living in.

Fordham would have been fine with the scholarship I got, and would have had an ok chance at BigLaw, but I simply don’t like NYC enough to take a chance on ending up with a non-biglaw salary in an expensive city that gets only more so every year.

GW was something I deeply considered as a person pretty tuned into politics and government, but I realized somewhere along the line that I liked the idea of being a DC guy more than the reality of it. It’s not a bad city, but I just couldn’t see myself fitting in. Also not a fan of how hot it gets in the summer.

Villanova ended up as my first choice because I like Philadelphia & the Southern PA suburbs, and have a few close friends there. Also, because of the full ride, I won’t have to worry about hitting a certain salary benchmark just to keep water with debt payments. A great deal all around.
