adam '23–'24 app cycle Class of 2027 class year

I will share my experience as I progress in this cycle.
Should have waited a bit longer for more merit-based fee waivers. I rushed to submit everything at the beginning of September, so I ended up spending more than I should on App fees. (9/19/2023)
Got Yale Fee Wavier (9/20/23)
Duke Acceptance (4:00 PM EST on November 21st) on the same day of me missing a NYU Wave. (11/21/2023)
Stanford Acceptance (While I was at the Rabat airport about to depart, around 1:00 PM Pacific Time on January 16th, 2024) (1/17/2024) HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE. Comitted straightaway on 1/26/2024 after the admissions package came in.
Withdrew Duke, UPenn, Northwestern, Berkeley, Cornell on January 18th 2024. I will give my spots to others. (1/18/2024)

Yale Acceptance (While I just finished calling my dad in my Airbnb in Belgrade, Serbia, the email came at 2:40PM Serbian time, going to see Tito’s grave afterwards - which didn’t happen because Apple was mad at me) (3/21/2024) SECOND** *HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE. *

Note I committed too early to Stanford. As a result, they offered me $0 in grant (financial aid), this resulted me to renege their offer. Luckily, Yale offered me $99,000 in aid, which is great. I can save more than $160,000 by going to Yale than Stanford. Therefore, I’m going to commit to Yale and de-commit from Stanford.
