Endogenous insemination is a process of achieving conception where semen is inserted into a woman's vagina by means other than intercourse. This is also known as artificial insemination by husband.

For example, if a couple is having difficulty conceiving, they may opt for endogenous insemination where the husband's semen is collected and inserted into the wife's vagina by a licensed physician. If the insemination is successful and the child is born while the couple is married, the husband is considered the father of the child.

It is important to note that if the woman is unmarried at the time of insemination, the laws regarding the donor's legal status as the father of the child may vary depending on the jurisdiction.
