A quick definition of National Technical Institute for the Deaf:

National Technical Institute for the Deaf: A school in Rochester, New York that helps deaf students learn on a college campus. It was created by the government in 1965 and is part of the Rochester Institute for Technology. We use the abbreviation NTID to talk about it.

A more thorough explanation:

The National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) is a college campus located in Rochester, New York. It was established by Congress in 1965 to provide education for deaf students in a campus designed primarily for students who can hear. NTID is a part of the Rochester Institute for Technology.

For example, a deaf student who wants to study engineering can attend NTID and take classes alongside hearing students at Rochester Institute for Technology. NTID provides support services such as interpreters, note-takers, and captioning to ensure that deaf students have equal access to education.

NTID is an important institution for deaf students because it provides a college experience that is tailored to their needs. It also helps to break down barriers and promote inclusion by bringing together deaf and hearing students in the same classrooms.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
Give it 4 more weeks at least. Everyone in this chat needs to wait longer.
