natural infancy

Read a random definition: mental reservation

A quick definition of natural infancy:

Natural Infancy: This is a time when a child is very young, usually from birth to seven years old. During this time, the child is still learning and growing, and is not yet able to do certain things on their own. In the past, it was believed that children under the age of seven could not commit crimes because they did not have the ability to understand right from wrong. Natural infancy is also used to describe the beginning stages of anything, like a project or a business.

A more thorough explanation:

Natural infancy refers to the early stages of childhood, typically ending at age seven. During this time, a child is presumed to be without criminal capacity according to common law. It can also refer to the beginning stages of anything.

  • A baby's first year of life is considered part of natural infancy.
  • In some legal systems, a child under the age of seven cannot be held responsible for committing a crime because they are considered to lack the mental capacity to understand their actions.
  • The natural infancy of a business is the period of time when it is just starting out and still developing its products or services.

These examples illustrate how natural infancy can refer to different stages of development, whether it be a child's early years, a business's beginning stages, or even the initial phases of a project or idea.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
