Read a random definition: lay system

A quick definition of prime contractor:

A prime contractor is a person or company that agrees to complete an entire project, including buying all the materials, hiring other workers, and coordinating all the work. They are responsible for making sure the project is done correctly and on time. A competent contractor is someone who has the skills, experience, and equipment to do the work safely and effectively without putting others at risk.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: A prime contractor is a party to a contract who contracts to do work or provide supplies for another. They are also known as a general contractor, who is responsible for the completion of an entire project, including purchasing all materials, hiring and paying subcontractors, and coordinating all the work.

Example: A construction company that is hired to build a new office building is a prime contractor. They are responsible for hiring subcontractors, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete specific parts of the project. The prime contractor is also responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Explanation: The example illustrates the definition of a prime contractor by showing how they are responsible for overseeing the entire project and hiring subcontractors to complete specific parts of the work. The prime contractor is the main point of contact for the client and is responsible for ensuring that the project is completed to the client's satisfaction.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
