Simple English definitions for legal terms

regular use

Read a random definition: battered child

A quick definition of regular use:

Regular use refers to the consistent and ongoing use of something for its intended purpose, as opposed to occasional or temporary use. For example, using a building as a dance club on a regular basis would be considered regular use. This term can also be used in insurance policies to describe the usual or customary use of a vehicle, such as a car that is regularly used by the insured.

A more thorough explanation:

Definition: Regular use refers to the usual, normal, or customary use of something, as opposed to occasional, special, or incidental use.

Example: In automobile insurance policies, regular use is defined as the primary use of a vehicle, as opposed to occasional or incidental use. For example, if a person uses their car to commute to work every day, that is considered regular use. However, if they only use their car once a month to run errands, that is considered occasional use.

This example illustrates how regular use is distinguished from occasional or incidental use, and how it is used in insurance policies to determine coverage.

I mean, idk how it's possible to end birth right citizenship without amending the constitution because to me the 14th amendment is pretty clear about it.
ross ulbricht tried to hire a hitman to kill 5 people
i am not that sympathetic to him

@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: That might have been an FBI agent. It was most likely him and he was most likely doing it to retrieve stolen funds that corrupt FBI agents stole, but yeah moral gray area but me personally, cool with hitmen. It's not like it is uncommon to hire hitmen. I don't think the action itself is necessarily wrong but the intent behind it can be.

Like, Boeing whistblowers being killed by hitmen = wrong but a guy hiring hitmen to retrieve stolen funds = good to me.

@Dkk: Yeah, for sure. My guess is it'll go to SCOTUS and it'll be 8-1 or 7-2, saying that EO was unconstitutional.
