Bruh i can get a union mining job for like 170k rn. I can go do a diff mining job for 200k+ if i work like an IB/big law slave. ASU in no way is an improvement for me and if i am being honest, my plan was to leverage them in scholarship negs
come to Alaska and work in mining <3

@MoreBoobsLessBooks: is FIRE your goal, or to make a lot of money?
georgia’s employment summary report makes me feel a lot better. i think i’d be happy there
my goal is freedom, which is only possible with so much money you choose to work instead of having to in order to survive

woah windy you went public

I like that you put your joke in your profile
11:40
@MoreBoobsLessBooks: that is a completely reasonable goal. While many methods can achieve that, I would argue the opportunity [in Law] to get there is a long play, since everyone knows the real money is either; founding a successful biz, becoming shareholder, or having investments which grow. I think with ur mining ex, say u net $100k in disposable income. If u put that in dividend growth stocks for 4yrs, u may have 8-10M in 10 years.
if i put it in hair o en i could have that in one year

@windyMagician: you should meet the Alaska guy I met last night in the bar. He lived out on a little island south of the mainland.

AK is so cool. Same with BC/NW Territories. So rugged and raw.
11:44
@windyMagician: have u ever drove from AK to the lower 48?
that is the wild ass frontier lmfao i want to live in 2024 not 1824
@llama: nah, i did fl to Seattle and put the car on a barge. i heard the drive is stunning but very remote

12:10
@Dkk: what is a good beginner sake to try?
i picked a bad day to quit drinking
Or a good day to quit not drinking?
i have like one drink every 3 years. im saving this one for my date with divorced guy
12:35
Nice- surprise him by breaking out the sake on the first date
13:03
might be a stupid question but how do i figure out what schools will hold for scores?
13:14
@c0bra1: you can ask them, I asked quite a few and most would, however UMich said they will not. However, I am under the impression that while they do not official ‘hold’ the app, they may defer looking at it if you ask nicely.
@windyMagician: dont forget the drugs lol
