@Futurelawyer22: what are your stats?
i have a question
has anyone applied with a 155 and a 2.7?
i worked full time during undergrad and had to take care of my sick dad and sister
19:37
I was accepted with a 2.9 and a 155 lsat, I retook the lsat and got a 158 to attempt to get into a different school, but I was accepted with a 155 a few months ago
21:35
@Vinkevchi: did they offer you a scholarship?
12:24
@Lawchick27: no scholarship. FAMU law is not know for giving out any scholarships really, but they’re pretty cheap so even at full price for tuition it wouldn’t be over $50k max for the whole degree in tuition
7:31
@Vinkevchi: oh wow thought they offer 10k scholarships if you score above 150.
14:25
I'm at 153 and they did not offer me anything @lawchick27
10:16
@Lawchick27: Yeah I have a 158 and I was not offered a scholarship. the only person i seen offered money scored in the 170's and with those scores they can go anywhere lol
22:37
I got a 149 this cycle and a 3.0GPA. Do you guys think I have a chance at FAMU?
QuietUnknownChihuahua
11:29
I scored a 162, 3.3 gpa and they just accepted me and gave me 11k a year
QuietUnknownChihuahua
11:30
But honestly, with the bar passage rate and the career prospects idk if it is a good choice to go to
13:53
@QuietUnknownChihuahua: I don’t have a choice but to go there. I cannot uproot my family.
How bad is this school
Anyone know when I’ll get my status checker info? I applied on 12/2 and I haven’t even gotten an application received email
When does FAMU usually render decisions?
Y'all if you haven't already, subscribe to law hub advantage! I just found out I got accepted a week ago, never got an email or anything
FAMU just updated my status tracker, but they never sent me log in info lol
Soon?
I was admitted 12/25/23 through the portal. I still don't have an acceptance email or scholarship email. Nothing from them! Like i don't even know when seat deposits are due.
do you guys think I could get in? i am tryna go south for school
19:47
@DifficultEatableElf: Reach out to admissions and find that information out.
19:49
Did anyone apply between January through April and have you received a decision yet? I submitted my application this month so I know it'll take time to hear back
22:38
Has anyone applied for fall 2025
@Ashlover671: I will be within a few weeks!
15:56
@ashlover67 I just applied for fall 2025!
