They're receiving a ton of applications over the last month or so. Their admissions office is the best I've ever interacted with so I doubt they will leave y'all hanging for long.
@HandyMercifulShrimp: you're also a splitter so it's probably not the worst thing that they're looking at yours for so long!

I'm trying to decide if I should go here. I'm from NYS and have no idea how to evaluate Oklahoma or if I want to live or work there. Any insights would be appreciated.
I'm from the OKC area. Personally I love it here and just moved back. Met a lot of great people and generally the CoL here is low. However I don't have a lot of experience with Norman

Who do I email about scholarships does anyone know?
@MrAdobo: while I've not lived in Norman I have been plenty of times and think it would be a great place to live. Small town feel while having everything you could need and fun places to eat/ drink/ hangout. I'm a huge OKC/ Norman proselytizer
Currently visiting Norman and OU and am incredibly impressed with how beautiful the school is and how nice the town is. It definitely feels like a smaller college town, but seems like a great place to be!

i applied 1/31 and haven't heard anything
13:09
should i email them?the only thing they said to me was the initial message about receiving my completed app
You're fine. They will get back to you when they make decisions. I know it's frustrating because we're nearing April but they will get back to you 100%.

horsegirl2028 I toured OU the other day and also thought it was incredibly beautiful! I got the email today that I will not receive a decision until after the seat deposit deadlines and I am saddened to say the least. I hope you have better luck than me!

Does anyone know if the OU seat deposit is binding? Lucky enough to be admitted, but still waiting on other schools for decisions/aid info.

Ended up withdrawing, good luck to those on the waitlist!

Howdy to anyone still on the waitlist. I sent the admissions team a couple of updates about my application and they told me that in all honesty it is unlikely that anyone out of state gets off the list. They being an in state institution are now mostly looking at in state applicants. I am sure this could change but I wanted to provide that information for anyone looking to make a decision soon. Best of luck everyone.

I applied recently and was also asked to interview. Have you interviewed yet @standingonbusiness?
Had my interview two days ago they said we should here back in like a month maybe earlier
GhoulsandMagnets
11:31
Oh nice, thanks for that update.
12:06
Anyone else's status went from in review to blank?
0:09
My status is showing accepted but no call/email.

@GhoulsandMagnets: i did interview last month, received a UR shortly after and an A about two weeks after the UR notification
StandingOnBusiness
13:33
the interview went as you may expect, nothing too crazy I think a primary focus for an out of stater is the "why OU/ why oklahoma?" which means you should have a compelling reason ready to tell
GhoulsandMagnets
13:14
Oh nice, it felt very similar then. My status went blank today so hopefully that's a good thing!
just got the Acceptance call today, scholarships get released in 2 weeks
FYI for people getting interviewed: They asked me a few questions that I know will impact scholarships/possibly admissions. I have a 159 and they seriously asked if I'd consider an LSAT retake for a higher scholarship offer...not joking. Interview was not bad but I can tell they're desperate to inflate that metric.
