Are you sure it’s not a previous message? Just before you received your decision you would have received that message. Unless you see a previous message and now see the same message a second time then you may be looking at an old notification. If is definitely the second time it appears in your tracker then you will have another decision on your status probably tomorrow.
It definitely changed from when I first got the WL notification but, I noticed this status change Friday and have yet to hear anything so who knows.
@CloisteredUnicorn: mine also says that. I didn't know if it was different than the original message that was there, but I think it is different. I noticed it on Thursday. I'm nervous
has anyone heard back from WL? Also got that notification "A decision has been sent via mail" on my application today.
did anyone end up getting an email after seeing the “you will receive communication in 24hrs?"
15:43
@SharpMagicalCrab: what are your stats?
@gymnastlawgirly: I never got one
10:08
I’m not sure if the trend changed during the cycle but I just read an article that said as of December, SC had the largest increase in applications of any state. Up 30% from a year ago. If this trend continued throughout the spring and summer, I have a feeling there will not be many waitlist people accepted this year. Seat deposits were due over two weeks ago. Someone would have heard something by now.
11:45
^^trying to encourage people to withdraw their applications XD

and my apps are good with lots of experience, URM, nKJD.
does anyone know what their class capacity is at currently?
@Babyricotta45: hey, im a current rising 2L that works closely with admissions, the capacity the school would like is a 205-210 range, but currently we are way above that with 240+ seat deposits submitted , highest we've ever had.
Holy smokes, doesn't sound like any of us are getting off the WL :(
Why so many this year? Any chance they increase their class size
8:50
They obviously accepted way more people in the beginning of the cycle. At the end there were great candidates that got waitlisted because of this. They should contact the waitlist candidates which probably would have been accepted and offer them a place in next years class if they are still intending to go to the school.
Is that something law schools ever do? It looks like they WL'd a lot of higher stat applicants for yield protection, assuming they can't just increase their class size
14:53
I just withdrew my acceptance, so that could be a spot for one of y'all
14:53
gl
Have they sent out any emails regarding the class being full or removing anyone from the waitlist?
Anyone heard anything?
Nothing at all
20:37
How do you guys think being an in-state legacy would affect my chances of acceptance with a 158 and 3.55 GPA
Anyone know when first wave of decisions will come out?
Likely October 1
13:06
I saw someone get rejected from south Carolina on the recent decisions page has anyone gotten any decision yet?
I haven't heard anything yet but everyone is saying it could be today
9:57
I looked and last year they released decisions around this time... I am lowkey stressing...
Anyone else checking their application portal every 5 minutes?
yes, you're not the only one refreshing
