A bit of an update: my gf called in yesterday and asked them what is going on. They said they are planning to have decisions for all pre-January applicants released by the end of April. Ik it's not much but it's some movement at least!
have the rejected anyone who applied in Jan?
15:32
still waiting
Hearing that we'll know something by the end of next week.
10:28
How do you know?
Word?
Heard from some current 1Ls there but you never know
Any movement?
I got nothing
0:19
Got an email today (4/29) asking if I was still interested in admissions and if so, they would get me an answer in 48 hours.
Anyone else heard anything?
@WildSplit: I got the same email late in the evening of 4/29. Responded even later that evening. Got another email from Dean Arrington this morning asking if I would mind submitting any scholarship offers I have from other schools for her to pass on to the scholarship committee. Got the acceptance email about 2 hours later and scholarship info should arrive sometime this week.
Probably not a great sign that I still haven't heard anything.
13:03
I got the A this morning via email at 10 AM
@LeanEagerDragonfly: unfortunately, I'm very sorry tp say that being below the LSAT median at a right angle school like Bama pretty much always spells doom. Being below both medians is admissions death. Sorry, bud.

Anybody have any advice on getting off the waitlist here? It's my top choice
How long has it been since you were WL/you send your LOCI?
ronaldacunajr
12:51
Got waitlisted March 8th and sent an LOCI then. Just recently graduated and sent them an updated resume highlighting an increased GPA and new job. Also working on getting another rec letter sent in
Are we expecting any WL movement soon?
ronaldacunajr
14:25
hope so, but no idea
ronaldacunajr
14:26
they only have one seat deposit and it was in April so seems unlikely
Where did you send your LOCI? I just got waitlisted today.
ronaldacunajr
23:54
To the admissions office email
Also did you get an email from them? My lawhub status changed to waitlisted but I haven't heard anything from the admissions office themselves
ronaldacunajr
12:28
Yes, I got an email from Claude Arrington
When is the 2nd seat deposit
It may have already passed. I know there was one on May 20th
Just withdrew from my full ride offer at Alabama after having paid the $100 seat deposit. So now is definitely the time to ask Alabama for an increase in your offers or be on the look out for them to try to fill my spot. Good luck everyone!
Thanks for sharing! GL!
Does anyone know of them accepting anyone off the WL yet?
