Jumping in as someone who also went to a CC, the only reason why I was successful was because my CC had a transfer program with my local 4-year so all of my credits transferred. Typically you’ve gotta be really on-top of which classes will transfer to each university you’re interested in

Advisors at any school can be hit or miss but that’s especially true when they’re advising you on which classes transfer, I 100% recommend doing your own research instead of listening to advisors
