@bigfatsloth: yes, they said that they did not have funds left and I could go on a scholarship waitlist. But I would not hear back until after the seat deposit is due. Understandably, I can't commit until I hear back right? Am I crazy for having that expectation?

It's a state school too - I definitely did not expect to be done this dirty lol. Their ABA 509 report says that people on their 75th percentile get ~20k so me getting nothing is crazy. Would it be inappropriate for me to bring that up in the meeting?

@dasfi0990ut1: "Your application is under review for scholarship consideration, and you will hear back from the law school after April 15th, 2025. There is no guarantee that you will receive a scholarship. Please call my office at your convenience to discuss financial aid, plan a visit or schedule a meeting with the dean. You can pay your seat deposit no later than April 1st, 2025." This is what the email said. :(

thank you for your wisdom - idk anyone going through this and I'm first gen so I'm kind of lost and my friends dont understand either lol. I will bring it up with the dean as well that I believe it is very unreasonable. Hopefully one of my other apps pans out because if not, I will just have to wait until next year. Thank you all !! (also if you have any recs on last minute schools maybe I should apply to that would be great as well) <3
