Anyone have any reach school recs for me? I don't want to waste money on too far of a reach. I have a 157 LSAT, a 3.62 GPA, real estate license, academic awards, bilingual, D1 Athlete with a game ball in a Big 12 primetime football game, 3 impressive lawyer recs, 1 year law firm experience, 1 year real estate experience
@Mostlylegal: Thank you :) yep I’m long past it but I haven’t been in a relationship since (so 3 years now). I can see why you feel hesitant to jump back into the dating pool after. But who knows maybe we’ll meet those perfect partners in law school
I always take it as a compliment when people who rejected me come crawling back in a couple of years. You may not get the satisfaction of being right now but you will get it! @Bunny
Penn State, University of Kentucky, Marquette, Drexel, Loyola Chicago, Texas Tech, and Belmont would all be great schools to apply to. You won't have a great shot at big law, but it is not out of the question if you are the top of the class
Thanks wasp, I've applied to a couple of those schools already and will probably apply to Loyala Chicago too. The limited stats on if the athlete status is so annoying. I don't want to shoot too high and waste money but I just might do so
you could maybe look at UGA, W&M, and university of Kansas. They normally wouldn't consider you at your current stats, but they have accepted people with comparable softs to your situation
