Could also go to Stanford and USC and people would like that more than going to an Ivy on the east coast.

I wanna be where the conservatives are,
In the halls of power, reaching for the stars.
I wanna sit with Scalia, learn from his wisdom,
And clerk for Thomas, in the heart of the system.
The Gop, with all its power and might,
A world of wonder, shining so bright.
Am I the girl who has everything,
In this conservative dream I am enveloping.
There is no such thing as an Ivy League law school, only an Ivy League undergrad. Cornell’s already getting displaced by WashU type strivers, NYU has a way better law school than undergrad, etc. and these changes will continue to happen. But something would have to happen to make law school applicants less obsessed with prestige to dethrone the Ivies
I do think it’s really funny that Harvard and Georgetown are the two law schools with the greatest lay prestige by virtue of having some of the largest class sizes
