@cuteanchovy: what happened with your cycle??
@OvertReconditeSpider: so cracked bro i’m waiting on my last reference before i can apply im so far behind
hoping i have good grades to carry the 1L summer job process
good luck bro! i've only applied to BL firms that do tax/finance bc thats my only advantage for 1L
you got a 1L summer job at a firm? a SA position?!
13:21
Hey guys, if I get into Vandy is that really good for BL? they have high percentages but idk if that's locked to Nashville only
yeah its a firm, not BL though
llama

vany id s NYC feeder/ dc feeder
i am getting lots of traction by applying to mid law in areas where the attorneys all went to TTT/TTTT schools lol
@InsipidLemon: vandy is a good school but a lot of their big law stuff are firms that don’t pay cravath. so you will have to work a little harder. but still a very solid school
@OvertReconditeSpider: that’s super cracked, very strong career moves you’re making
the firm that offered me pays associates 105-130k it looks like but the median home price in the area is 225k ;) lol

13:23
should i do the optional video for vandy? i didnt yet, im not sure it'll hurt my app because i Dont do it as oppose to more "makes no difference" like a why nyu for nyu
HopefullyInLawSchool
13:23
do it, the more you can put in thats quality the better
jackfrost11770
13:23
i wrote a pretty detailed why vandy for their little text box in the app so it's just gonna be the same shit again
only 1 hour from philly and 1.5 hour from NYC so its best of both world imo. I wanna live somewhere cheap so money goes farther
13:24
@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: ahh no way, so just 500+ firms that aren't Cravath?
13:24
Also, does anyone know if I can do Vandy's scholarship materials after my decision? Or do they need to be done before a decision
@InsipidLemon: a lot of them aren’t cravath but vandy is still a very solid school so i’m sure some of those are cravath
jackfrost11770
13:24
ok ty!
@jackfrost11770: i didn’t do the video and i got waitlisted
@OvertReconditeSpider: that’s still great money. a house with two years salary is very much within your means
@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: 100%. im graduating with $10k in loans so its very chill with me lol
llama
13:28
@OvertReconditeSpider: working the plan and the plan is working, bravo
lmao so goated good job spider
thanks guys, good luck with applying
13:43
Are the 2024 ABA 509 reports applicable to applicants applying for fall 25?
13:43
Like updated medians etc.?
13:44
Does admissions account for that data
yes if the medians go up they tend to stay up
