That also happened to me initially though. I went under review in late October. Then message disappeared in mid-November, and then reappeared last week.

From most Reddit pages, it seems that WashU does a poor job at updating their status checker and treat it more as a checklist for whether applications are complete. Some folks have gotten an email with the A, but their status checker still says under review.
