Hi a little new to the law school process, any answers would be appreciated. Why does it ask for my GPA on a 4.3 scale instead of a 4.0?

Some schools weight A+ as 4,3. In LSAC, you can check your CAS GPA, which is converted from your school GPA to a more standard 4.3 format

thank you and also maybe a stupid question.. My GPA is lower a 3.38 but I was Prevet I took Orgo 1&2 Calc 1&2 Phys 1&2 do they look at the course work or just the number when reviewing apps?

Honestly, it depends on the specific school’s review process. Most of the ones I’ve read about try to consider more than just the GPA. But the GPA number is always going to be pretty important because it’s a contributing factor to the school’s ranking and how people perceive the school’s “prestige level”
