I will say, I’m a bit insecure to go to one of those schools with a state school undergrad. I don’t know if that’s weird or anything, but I’ve heard a lot about elitism and all that

Exactly. The fact that YLS cares so much about where you went to undergrad, vis a vis faculty review, is awful imo
