Don’t submit your application to your first choice school first. You will probably notice minor errors and areas for improvement as you submit other applications.

Take a few years, get a job, save up money. That way you can donate a building to your top choice. LSAT: 160 (4/21) -> 162 (6/21) -> 162 (10/21) -> 169 (1/22)
My two cents: Apply far and wide if you can afford to do so. I had several surprises in my application results and was grateful that I applied to many schools.
WF has a “non-binding” early decision program, and that’s what I was accepted to with a 45k scholarship. deferred myself to regular decision and was waitlisted
162 og lsat then 168 update in Feb. Take the LSAT so so so very seriously, it was my biggest limiting factor.
You don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a good LSAT score - just organization and honesty. Rankings are not everything. Enjoy the learning experience.
I don’t feel like you can ever start your personal statement too soon or ever be too delusional during the app process <3 forget the moon, aim for the sun :’)
if you’re even a little bit thinking about it, take a fucking gap year. no WE is a really big negative even if you have perfect stats. do not do what i did.
iloveyouallforever left wisdom for posterity… (◕︵◕) Apply Broadly and don’t be afraid to reach even if you think there is no chance in history.

Double Major in the arts and political science at StateU. StudentGov, leadership positions, etc. + political internship(s). Major C/F issues
Just want to leave a word of encouragement for my fellow serious C&F applicants, you can overcome your past. Don’t let it hold you back!
If you have all of your materials ready, apply as soon as possible! Also, do not apply to as many schools as I did - it was a mistake.
Be yourself! The schools that truly value who you are despite your stats will want you and be the best fit for you. Also, apply early.
