Took me 9 months of hardcore studying to get from a 150–>174. If you have the resources, dedication, and attention span you can do it :)

Admitted to Boston UniversityIf you have all of your materials ready, apply as soon as possible! Also, do not apply to as many schools as I did - it was a mistake.
Bother every single one of your friends and your family members incessantly to read and re-read your personal statements and essays.
UChicago is actually a pretty cool school - never thought I’d end up there for PIL.
Shoot your shot! You don’t have anything to lose (except for the application fee money, but you’ll earn that back eventually lol)!

Use 7sage, don’t do more than 1-2 tests a week, take a 4-5 day break every couple practice tests (so you actually learn).
Write at least 1 optional essay if there is one Standardize the formatting of all your documents (minus the resume)

Don’t use Blueprint unless your diagnostic is already 160+. I’m going to use LSAT Demon to try assuming I don’t get one…
Write a very cohesive narrative as to why you’re applying and why you want to go to that school. Do the optionals!
It is I, OutgoingShrimp, keeper and king of waitlists. Bow before me and behold in awe my sea of yellow statuses.
