You only need 1 “admitted” decision to go to law school, so apply broadly—including safety schools.

Admitted to Syracuse UniversityApply wide. Really wide. Embarrassingly wide. Then let the dust settle and make the smartest boring decision available. Prestige is a fine thing until you’re paying for it with money you don’t have chasing outcomes that aren’t guaranteed. The humble path taken confidently beats the prestigious path taken anxiously…
Apply as early and broadly as you possibly can. If you’re not BigLaw-or-bust, don’t go to the fanciest school that accepts you. Go to any school with adequate career outcomes that you personally like and can most easily afford. If you won’t be satisfied outside the T14, be prepared to R&R no matter your stats.
Don’t compare yourself to others. Do your best to be your best and you will be successful.
Pay as much money as you can to do well the LSAT, especially if you are a splitter. A few thousand on a course can make up for tens of thousands in scholarships. Originally applied to 5 schools 2020-21 cycle with a 15low and got 4/5 waitlists, no acceptances. Reapplying this cycle with higher LSAT and fingers…
Your greatest obstacle is you. Plan, act, adapt, persist, and overcome.

-Picking which school is harder than waiting for admission decisions -Write all the essays and make sure you do them well, not halfway and just calling it good enough -Consider how the school fits you more than anything else, because a school may be number one in rank but that doesn’t mean it’s the best for you

Use the 509 reports and the LSAC website data for school acceptance rates based on LSAT/GPA. I used LSAT Demon to study. Their scholarship estimator will give you important info about likelihood of scholarships based on your numbers. Apply early in the cycle. Good luck!
Know beforehand if you can handle work and the LSAT. If you do get a low score but have a terrific GPA & were super involved in your undergrad, apply to your dream schools. Oh, get your personal statement checked 3+ times! You know the saying, shoot your shot ~~
APPLY TO LAW SCHOOL. Don’t let anyone discourage you. Go to the best school that gives you the most money!!!!!!! I will only be including the day sent and when I received a decision date because law schools will take years to get back to you with a decision.
今度は今度. 今は今. Next time is next time. Now is now.
originally applied to all schools with a 159, retook in April and got a 169. probably would have had a better outcome if I had waited to apply with this better score but ending up at my top choice with a great scholarship. v happy!
Wrote why x for every school. T5 undergrad. Softs are internships/ugrad clerkships with state circuit court judges & DOJ, and WE post-undergrad is an administration position not in law. Tough cycle, but life goes on.
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming.
Apply early!!! Worrying makes applications harder (I know that’s saying a lot). And do NOT look at Reddit.
