Secure LORs in the summer. LSAT is king. While my score is fine, I know it was a central factor in why I was…

LSAT 165 GPA 3.97 2025–26 cycle

You are likely to get surprising results (both good and bad) from schools that you are applying to. This is why it is important to apply broadly as well as early in the cycle. Applying in September is preferable. If you are going to apply in January or later, just wait for the next cycle.

LSAT 160 GPA 3.63 2021–22 cycle

Last night I went to sleep planning on moving to Knoxville, TN to attend their law school, and this morning I woke up to an offer from W&L law (about 25 rankings higher) and now I am attending their prestigious program. I think this goes to show you should never give up and…

My wisdom is that you’re probably up late right now stressing about if you’re going to get into your dream school and comparing yourself to other applicants on this site and freaking out over the cesspool that is r/Lawschooladmissions. You will get into great schools and be a great lawyer I swear. Now go to bed

Apply to peer schools of the school you want to attend to have competing scholarship offers to negotiate with. In hindsight I would have applied to more schools for more negotiation leverage.
