Busted my ass for all of these decisions, especially the acceptance at Alabama. Debt is a prison, go to the best school that will cost you the smallest amount of money.

Admitted to Tulane UniversityI have received application waivers from a majority of schools on my list. Have a little over 5 years of total work experience. Official cold diagnostic 150 (5/6/2022); did not study for roughly 1 year and took another PT cold and got 155 (1/28/2023). Actual test score 168 (6/10/2023).
Shoot your shot! -D1 Athlete -Top 20 UG -Applied with a 3.76, increased to 3.79 after fall grades -Softs: several internships; publication in prestigious undergrad law journal; leadership role in several college clubs; semester abroad -wrote why x for every school
Be firm in what you want. If you know where you want practice, go to the school that will best set you up for that. Don’t force it. There’s nothing wrong with trying again next cycle. Especially if you’re in a place rn that is treating you well. Don’t rush a transition.
do your best, stay delusional, stay off Reddit
Applied to every school under the sun because I was hunting that sweet $$$$. Take advantage of fee waivers. No special softs, but strong public service resume, solid recommendations, and creative essay topic. Proud to have two T14 A’s in the cycle from hell.
Before I got any results back, I made predictions on which schools I’d be Accepted/Rejected/Waitlisted at. I was only wrong about one– I figured USC would reject me, but that’s where I’m going now :) Don’t count yourself out!
pretty much sent all my applications right around the end of march (had a panic attack about jan LSAT so i delayed until the feb date), if there was an optional essay i did it, lesson for you splitters is to get a good gpa :) and apply early
Scholarships are weird and take a long time for some schools. Be patient and do good research to see which schools are historically generous with aid. Did not have much luck negotiating but I only tried for the University of Maryland.
“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
“Ready” is not a feeling, it’s a decision!
Went from 163 in October➡️ 167 in November➡️ 172 in January, so if you think you can do better, try taking the LSAT again. Also, the extra month in between November and January LSAT helped. I’ll update this at the end. (◕︵◕)
This process is the greatest ponzi scheme of all time
Had a law school epiphany in November 2020, took the January LSAT, submitted the bulk of my applications in Feb/early March (haha kill me right?), and now I’m here praying for death with all the rest of you psychos.
Apply early in the cycle if you can. Do the optional essays (nothing is really ‘optional’) Study for the LSAT for at least 3 months (take breaks, don’t burn out) PROOF READ Everything happens for a reason :)
After riding a lot of WL last year, I am R&R. I was PTing much higher on the LSAT hence some of my dumb applications. We will see what happens. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bL_kVl_d95E&ab_channel=3sha214
Two lessons: Apply early and don’t waste your money on LSAT prep if it ain’t 7Sage! Also, if you have the finances, shoot your shot at the reach schools. It didn’t work for me but at least I can say I tried!
Waitlisted at these schools last cycle with the same stats: BC WashU Emory I withdrew from all three in May 2021 and decided to re-apply the next cycle since I committed to my job for another year
