-Unless you had extensive and impressive internships, volunteer hours, leadership roles etc. in your undergraduate, I am of the opinion that you must get some full-time work experience before applying. -In terms of admissions outcomes, I do not think there is much of a difference submitting in early September vs…

Admitted to University of WisconsinI started this page to keep family and friends updated on the admissions process, but am keeping public incase it might provide any helpful info to others!
don’t trust everything you read on reddit or in the LSData chat - most of them have also not yet gotten into law school so they’re not exactly an authority on where you should or should not apply. do what you want. no DS- I had an LSAC fee waiver that covered 3 CAS fees in addition to 1 CAS fee waiver for…
Hello! This will be a report of my decisions/recap of my cycle so far. It will be updated as decisions come in. Below my recount of decisions, you can find my wisdom for any potential future applicants looking at my profile. University of Houston - Result: Acceptance. January 15, 2026 My first decision of the cycle…
My handle is the same on Reddit if you have any questions (or if you want to view my cycle recap which includes more about me), and do feel free to DM there (as I don’t check this often). Best of luck to you in your application cycle! I’m so grateful to have received the AnBryce scholarship, and I have a lot of…
I’ve enjoyed seeing what other people have written here when they do write something so I figured I’d give my advice (LSAT/apps/essays) to the wind for anyone willing to read it: LSAT My diagnostic was 152, ended up with a 166 after studying for like a month lol. You can get a lot out of free content if you don’t…
i did my best and i have to be proud of that because what else do i have
Your personal statement is your gold. Also, I highly recommend doing social work or something adjacent to it prior to law school. You learn a ton about how the law interacts with vulnerable people at systemic and individual levels, and it makes for a great narrative. I think that’s what gave me the edge in…
Started with a 158 diagnostic and went up 13 points to a 171 with about 2 and a half months of studying! Unfortunately I think a private tutor is 1000% worth it if you are able to swing the cost, BUT regardless of how you study do your best and put your faith in God that you will end up on the path that you are…
“We’re tight-fisted with property and money, yet think too little of wasting time, the one thing about which we should all be the toughest misers.” — Seneca. Don’t get lost spending all your time looking at law school information. Enjoy each part of your life while you’re living it! Law school is just the next step.
Applying during the 2024-2025 cycle. Currently in grad school and will update throughout the year. Used fee waivers for all application fees and all but 10 CAS fees. Did not negotiate with any school since most got back to me after I was happy with other offers.
Some extra info about my application cycle: Duke (WL) - Colossally slow. As a result you are better off applying before Thanksgiving as they are fairly strict in reviewing applications chronologically. Seems rare to get accepted if you apply after the end of November. Attended an info session prior to applying.…
Notes: Do everything, (Keep good grades, study LSAT, join clubs, and get internships). I wish I kept my grades up, but having these other EC’s, helps tremendously- Try Teach For America Ignite if you don’t want to commit to a 2 year TFA contract. I have now taught/tutored in San Antonio, Texas and Tulsa, Oklahoma…

Thanks to your hard work and impressive credentials, you will be awarded a Sandra Day O’Connor Scholarship if admitted to New England Law | Boston. My first piece of wisdom is to treat this site like an organizing system–not a crystal ball or social media site or anything else. Also please curb how long you spend on Reddit as well. The only time I got something from either of these two sites was my Yale waitlist, which I had to check manually (no email as of…
don’t check here everyday, you’ll go crazy. what will be will be
I would sooner swallow 15 live bees than repeat this process
Shout out to all the trans girls out there! This first point is addressed to y’all. I’m going to be so real: y’all got the softs, alright? But you got to right those essays, and write them well, even if it’s hard. There is a lot of doomerism, and there is good cause for that. But I want to stress: law school classes…
