Admitted to University of MiamiIf they let you write Why X in your PS or in the application itself, write it out (or at least think it through) because it can help you figure out why you like the school other than ranking or employment rate. Don’t be scared, you will get into your dream school. I believe in you!
I hope you appreciate yourself for how far you’ve already come. For how graceful you carried yourself through the different seasons of your life. For the strength you held yourself with through every challenge that you had to face. For the hope you kept up during uncertain times.

Be firm in what you want. If you know where you want practice, go to the school that will best set you up for that. Don’t force it. There’s nothing wrong with trying again next cycle. Especially if you’re in a place rn that is treating you well. Don’t rush a transition.
Applied to every school under the sun because I was hunting that sweet $$$$. Take advantage of fee waivers. No special softs, but strong public service resume, solid recommendations, and creative essay topic. Proud to have two T14 A’s in the cycle from hell.
Shoot your shot! Don’t tell yourself no before someone else can.

I’ll try to update my thoughts on all school decisions as they come… NYLS: Originally waitlisted but the school emailed back the next day saying it was a mistake. Felt like a lowball scholarship considering my other offers. UMiami: Had to wait until February for scholarship. Heard they don’t negotiate but try to…
