Applicant wisdom
Advice applicants left on their LSD.Law profiles, searchable by topic, school, and stats.
Pace yourself as you study. There can be diminishing returns if LSAT prep takes over your time and headspace. When it comes time to choose, stay rooted in what makes sense for you. Don’t read too much into other people’s results. Be clear and personal about your “why law” and “why now.”
LSAT 169 GPA 3.26 2024–25 cycle
Apply early! I applied late and ended up really stressed around deposit deadlines when I was still waiting for decisions and merit scholarship announcements. Also, future immigration lawyers, nobody in the asylum/removal defense world cares what law school you go to. Go where you can afford to go!
You never know what a school is looking for year-to-year, so just go for it. Stay true to yourself—authenticity is easier to sell.
Part time applicant, all scholarship figures are over 4 years
Don’t ask me how I didn’t get into McKinney… Idk either🤣
