Admitted to University of California—Los Angeles…I did. George Washington: Jan. 12, ACCEPTED- Receiving a waitlist offer from GW was rough, especially because it wasn’t a top school on my list. …gotten in earlier in the cycle. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY WAITLISTS!!! When I was getting waitlisted at all my target schools and some reach schools, I did not believe I was going to get off. During the time in between I had attended the Waitlist webinar (they know if you attended it and mark it down) and had sent 3 LOCIs (1 per month). I did the interview and was accepted off the waitlist. UCLA offered me…
…my essays and LORs were what kept me in the running to be waitlisted. The LSAT was really hard for me, so I don’t think getting my score up even 5+ points was really feasible. If I could, though, I think at least some of my waitlists would have been an A. I chose not to play the “waitlist game”. I didn’t send any…

…show specific interest in the school so that you don’t get waitlisted for yield protection (especially at Michigan, they really emphasize “fit”).
