January 23, 2026 I was not expecting to hear from Texas this soon, and definitely not at 5:00 pm on a Friday of a fairly slow decision week. Admitted to University of Houston…it confirms that I have a shot a target schools). I got a waitlist at one target early on and missed the first several A-waves from other targets. …was a 3.14. I sent in an updated transcript in apr 21 for waitlists
If anyone finds it interesting that someone with my stats got waitlisted to BLS, PM me.
Try to apply early in the cycle. I think a good number of my waitlists would have been acceptances if I’d applied earlier. That or my essays suck
