Big tip: if you did Americorps, TFA, Peace Corps, or even just are struggling financially, ask the admissions for a fee waiver. I paid for 2 applications total, excluding the CAS Report $45 fee, and that allowed me to actually apply to multiple schools in different regions I’m interested living in.

Personal statement tip: I like to think of my personal statement like a circle. I started in one spot, and eventually got back to the beginning at the end. It tied it all together neatly and I think it made it more powerful.
