A quick definition of arrangements committee:

An arrangements committee is a group of people who are responsible for organizing the physical space where a meeting or assembly will take place. They make sure everything is set up properly so that the meeting can run smoothly. Committees are groups of people who work together to get things done. They are often used in organizations like clubs, businesses, and governments to help make decisions and carry out tasks.

A more thorough explanation:

An arrangements committee is a type of committee that is responsible for organizing the physical space in which a deliberative assembly meets. It is a subordinate group to which a deliberative assembly or other organization refers business for consideration, investigation, oversight, or action.

For example, if a conference is being held, the arrangements committee would be responsible for organizing the venue, seating arrangements, audio-visual equipment, and other logistical details to ensure that the conference runs smoothly.

Another example would be if a political party is holding a convention, the arrangements committee would be responsible for organizing the venue, stage, lighting, sound, and other details to ensure that the convention is successful.

Overall, the arrangements committee plays an important role in ensuring that the physical space in which a deliberative assembly meets is organized and functional, allowing the assembly to focus on its business without distractions or disruptions.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
