A calendar motion is a request made to a court about the time of a court appearance. Examples of calendar motions include requests to change the date of a court hearing or to move it up. It is a type of motion that deals with scheduling and timing.

A more thorough explanation:

A calendar motion is a type of motion that relates to the time of a court appearance. Examples of calendar motions include motions to continue, motions to advance, and motions to reset. It is a request made to the court to change the date or time of a hearing or trial.

  • Motion to Continue: A request made by a party to postpone a hearing or trial to a later date.
  • Motion to Advance: A request made by a party to move a hearing or trial to an earlier date.
  • Motion to Reset: A request made by a party to reschedule a hearing or trial that has already been postponed or continued.

These examples illustrate how a calendar motion is used to request a change in the date or time of a court appearance. It is important to note that calendar motions are different from other types of motions, such as motions for summary judgment or motions to dismiss, which relate to the substance of the case.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
