CMR stands for two distinct legal terms within the military justice system: Court of Military Review and Court-Martial Reports.

Historically, CMR referred to the Court of Military Review, which was an appellate court within each branch of the U.S. armed forces. These courts reviewed convictions and sentences from courts-martial. They have since been renamed and are now known as the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals, U.S. Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals, U.S. Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals, and U.S. Coast Guard Court of Criminal Appeals.
