creativity

A quick definition of creativity:

Creativity is when someone makes something that is really unique and special. It's not just something that anyone could make, it's something that shows a lot of imagination and originality. It doesn't matter how much time or money someone puts into it, what matters is how creative it is. This is why it can be protected by copyright. However, if someone just copies something without adding anything new, it's not considered creative and can't be protected by copyright.

A more thorough explanation:

When we talk about creativity, we mean how much a work shows imagination beyond what an average person could create. This means that the work is unique and original, and not just a copy of something else. Creativity is an important part of many fields, including art, music, writing, and design.

For example, a painting that uses new and interesting techniques to create a unique image would be considered creative. On the other hand, a painting that simply copies an existing image without adding anything new would not be considered creative.

It's important to note that creativity is not the same as labor or expense. Just because someone spends a lot of time or money on a project doesn't necessarily mean it's creative. In fact, creativity can often be found in simple and inexpensive projects that use new ideas or approaches.

In terms of copyright law, creativity is an important factor in determining whether a work is protected. If a work is not creative enough, it may not be eligible for copyright protection. For example, a phone book is not considered creative enough to be protected by copyright, since it simply lists factual information.

I mean, idk how it's possible to end birth right citizenship without amending the constitution because to me the 14th amendment is pretty clear about it.
ross ulbricht tried to hire a hitman to kill 5 people
i am not that sympathetic to him

@KnowledgeableRitzyWasp: That might have been an FBI agent. It was most likely him and he was most likely doing it to retrieve stolen funds that corrupt FBI agents stole, but yeah moral gray area but me personally, cool with hitmen. It's not like it is uncommon to hire hitmen. I don't think the action itself is necessarily wrong but the intent behind it can be.

Like, Boeing whistblowers being killed by hitmen = wrong but a guy hiring hitmen to retrieve stolen funds = good to me.

@Dkk: Yeah, for sure. My guess is it'll go to SCOTUS and it'll be 8-1 or 7-2, saying that EO was unconstitutional.
