DE EXCOMMUNICATO DELIBERANDO: A legal term used in the history of the church. It refers to a writ that releases a person who has been excommunicated from prison. This writ is issued when the person's superior certifies that they have reconciled with the church.

A more thorough explanation:

DE EXCOMMUNICATO DELIBERANDO

De excommunicato deliberando is a Latin term used in Ecclesiastical law. It refers to a writ that releases an excommunicated person from prison. This writ is issued when the person's superior certifies that the person has reconciled with the church.

For example, if a person is excommunicated from the church and is imprisoned, they can be released from prison if their superior certifies that they have reconciled with the church. This writ is called de excommunicato deliberando.

Another example is if a person is excommunicated from the church and is unable to attend church services or receive sacraments. If they reconcile with the church, they can be readmitted and receive the sacraments again.

These examples illustrate how de excommunicato deliberando is used in Ecclesiastical law to release excommunicated persons from prison or readmit them to the church after they have reconciled with the church.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
