A quick definition of in libero sochagio:

Term: IN LIBERO SOCHAGIO

Definition: In free socage. This is a type of land tenure where a tenant holds land in exchange for providing the lord with husbandry-related services instead of military service. It was originally the tenure of socmen, but it became a generic term for all free services other than knight-service, serjeanty, or spiritual service. Free socage is when the services are certain and honorable, while villein socage is when the services, though certain, are of a baser nature than those provided under free socage.

A more thorough explanation:

in libero sochagio (in lib-r-oh s-kay-jee-oh), adv. [Law Latin] In free socage. Socage is a type of land tenure where a tenant holds lands in exchange for providing the lord with husbandry-related service instead of military service.

  • Socage: A tenant holds lands in exchange for providing the lord with husbandry-related service.
  • Free socage: Socage in which the services were both certain and honorable.
  • Villein socage: Socage in which the services, though certain, were of a baser nature than those provided under free socage.

The examples illustrate the different types of socage. Free socage is a type of socage where the services provided by the tenant are certain and honorable. Villein socage, on the other hand, is a type of socage where the services provided are of a baser nature than those provided under free socage. These examples help to clarify the definition of socage and its different types of tenure.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)
