A quick definition of jus civile:

Term: JUS CIVILE

Definition: Jus civile is an old law from Rome that only applied to Roman citizens. It covered things like how to make a will. Over time, it changed because of new laws like the jus honorarium and jus sentium. Eventually, it became part of a bigger Roman law.

Related term: Civil law, jus Quiritium

A more thorough explanation:

JUS CIVILE

Jus civile is a Latin term that refers to the traditional law of the city of Rome. It began with the Twelve Tables and was developed by juristic interpretation. This law covered areas of law restricted to Roman citizens, such as the formalities of making a will. Over time, the jus civile was modified by other laws, such as the jus honorarium and the jus sentium. The original jus civile was eventually absorbed into a general Roman law.

An example of jus civile is the law that governed the formalities of making a will. This law was restricted to Roman citizens and was developed through juristic interpretation. Another example is the modification of the jus civile by the jus honorarium, which changed the requirements for a valid will.

These examples illustrate how jus civile was a specific set of laws that applied only to Roman citizens and was developed over time through interpretation and modification.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
