A quick definition of jus delatum:

Term: jus delatum

Definition: Jus delatum is a legal term used in Scots law to describe a transferred right. This means that a person has given their right to something to someone else. For example, if someone sells their car to another person, they are transferring their right to own and use the car to the buyer. Jus delatum is a way of legally recognizing this transfer of rights.

A more thorough explanation:

jus delatum

Jus delatum is a legal term used in Scots law to refer to a right that has been transferred from one person to another.

1. John inherited a piece of land from his father. He then sold the land to Mary. In this case, the right to own the land was transferred from John to Mary. This is an example of jus delatum.

2. Sarah received a copyright for her book. She then sold the copyright to a publishing company. The right to publish and distribute the book was transferred from Sarah to the publishing company. This is also an example of jus delatum.

These examples illustrate how jus delatum works in practice. In both cases, a right was transferred from one person to another. This transfer of rights is an important concept in Scots law and is often used in various legal transactions.

No, at least from the two people I know there that’s false. I think it’s just something like Chicago for conservatives is on par with S whereas for liberals it’s below HYS but above CCNP

It's more just not a good # for people who aren't willing to clerk conservative. I'm sure they place liberal clerks at an above average rate for a t-6 though. Maybe higher (not entirely sure)
