letter of recall

Read a random definition: a.k.a.

A quick definition of letter of recall:

A letter of recall is a type of letter that is sent to someone who is representing their country in another country, asking them to come back home. It can also be a letter from a company to a customer, asking them to return a product for repair or replacement.

A more thorough explanation:

A letter of recall is a document that is sent from one nation's executive to another, summoning a minister back to their own country. It can also refer to a manufacturer's letter to a buyer of a particular product, asking the buyer to bring the product back to the dealer for repair or replacement.

The President of Country A sends a letter of recall to their ambassador in Country B, asking them to return to their home country immediately. This could be due to political tensions or a change in leadership.

A car manufacturer sends a recall letter to all owners of a specific model, asking them to bring their cars back to the dealership for a free repair. This could be due to a safety issue or a defect in the car's design.

These examples illustrate how a letter of recall can be used in different contexts, but they both involve a request for someone or something to return to its origin. In the case of Example 1, the ambassador is being summoned back to their home country, while in Example 2, the car owners are being asked to bring their cars back to the dealership.

@mastermonkey45: Looking at some of the recent decisions in relation to when they went complete, I'd say it's a good sign. It seems many declines were sent within about 5-6 weeks of completion. Given those were applications that were SENT in January, I'd say that means you're still solidly in the running. :)

Sent an app to OSU in early december and have STILL not heard back
