A naturalized citizen is a person who was not born in a country but has become a citizen of that country through a legal process called naturalization. This person owes allegiance to the country and is entitled to all the rights and protections of a citizen.

For example, if someone is born in Mexico but moves to the United States and goes through the process of becoming a citizen, they are a naturalized citizen of the United States. They have the same rights and protections as someone who was born in the United States.

Another example is a person from China who moves to Canada and becomes a Canadian citizen through naturalization. They are now a naturalized citizen of Canada and have all the rights and protections of a Canadian citizen.
